Citivision 2026 will be the week of May 4, 2026. Suggestion to change City Council Meeting to Monday, May 11, 2026.

Martin Luther King Day is observed on Monday, January 19, 2026. Suggestion to change the meeting to Tuesday, January 20, 2025.

Requesting City Council to adopt Resolution 25-23 allowing staff to advertise for a public hearing on November 17, 2025.

Consider Closing Pee Dee Ave. for Halloween

Required contribution to the North Carolina Retirement System relating to contribution-based benefit cap legislation from 2014.

Budget amendment to appropriate insurance proceeds received for the repair of damaged maintenance buildings.

Budget amendment to purchase two garbage trucks using debt proceeds in the Solid Waste Collections Fund.

Budget amendment to appropriate NCMPA reserves for a fund transfer from Electric for the purchase of additional meters to complete the AMI Project Phase 1.

Budget amendment to appropriate Water Sewer fund balance to remediate the lake at the Jack F. Neel Water Treatment Plant, per the mandate by the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality.

Budget amendment for additional funding from the electric fund to complete AMI Project Phase 1.

Approval needed of selected contractor based on RFP submittals

Update City Council on City Staff's preparations for the upcoming loose leaf season.
